Gossip Girl is better than 90210

I cannot say that I have watched a full episode of Gossip Girl, although I always mean to when stuff comes up. I have heard good things about the cast and show and of course, if you've watched any of the recent award shows, you saw that Gossip Girl won plenty of awards and were recognized fairly often throughout. Here is an interesting fact.....I am 3rd cousins to Chase Crawford of Gossip Girl! I am ashamed to say that I don't even know what the characters' name is that he plays! I found this out after my mom returned from a family reunion in Texas, where she caught up with her 1st cousin, who is Chases' great grandmother. I know....it's crazy that we have a cousin that we didn't know about! I can remember as a child, when we would visit relatives in Texas during the summer (when school was out). We would stay for a couple of weeks with my moms' millionaire aunt and uncle (Chases' great-great-grands), grandmother, mom, and uncle. The pool at their house was awesome and since everything is bigger in Texas (as they say), I always felt like I was visiting Royalty - for some reason. That was just my "child brain" thinking! They really are down to earth people though. I do remember Chase's mom & dad getting married and looking at pictures of their wedding. She is a stunningly beautiful woman with a handsome husband, as you can imagine and has obviously passed that on to their children. After that, we all sort of lost touch, which is why I never knew that he existed! Since then, we were able to reconnect and plan to stay in touch. I agree with you jaygee96, that the guys on the show are HOT, while the girls really are just average looking....nothing to really make over. I haven't seen 90210 in a looooooong time. Are there new episodes of that one?
