Well, normally people take charcoal pills to ease their digestion, so if it's the same kind of charcoal then I shouldn't think you need to worry. However, I don't know whether the charcoal found in fire places perhaps contains any other ingredients or chemicals which might be harmful. Does your baby seem well? It's been 3 hours now since you posted this discussion, so hopefully everything's fine, but if they think that you should go to casualty to get him checked out then they'll let you know. Or they'll tell you not to worry. I've used this service several times with my daughter and it's been really useful (especially for me as a first-time mum!)

well, to make you are really worried go to the doctor and have your kid check. theres nothing wrong if you will do it. atleat, you will feel safe and worry less.
