I am very excited. I have been to Japan before but only in the airport haha. On January I will have my stopover in Tokyo before I go back here in Canada. I will be there for 5 days to see my best friend and hopefully my cousins that are there who I haven't seen for years.

Hello. Have a nice time there in Japan. I have been to Japan five times. I was in the City of Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka. Very beautiful cities. I took the bullet train travelling from Tokyo to Osaka. Oh, that was amazing. Very fast and very comfortable. I also went to Mount Fuji, so beautiful, so scenic, to me one of the most beautiful places in the world !

I hope you'll have a nice visit here in Japan. January here is very cold, so don't forget to bring jackets. Try visiting the Tokyo Disneyland, Sanrio Pureland and Roponggi, where you can see a lot of foreigners there. Goodluck!

January in Japan, especially Tokyo is quite cool and may be snow. May be not much attraction can be seen during winter. I think the best time to visit Japan will be in April whereby the sakura blossom and many festival. However I like to visit Japan in summer (July/August) to climb Mt. Fuji).
