In India and Indian subcontinent cricket is a religion and crickets are god for people. It is loved by one and all in this part of the world but do you feel that betting should be made legal in cricket?
During the IPL extravaganza last time, this thing came to many that it should be and I feel that to a certain extend it is allowable. What do you think of it?

Dear coolmailraj I agree with you. In India people are mad behind cricket game. Lots of money involved . Earlier it was game of rich people and still it is considered a game of rich people. The cost of cricket bat and other accessories are too expensive which is beyond the reach of common people. In India cricket players are being treated as GOD. Within a span of five yrs or so cricket players become crorepati . In my opinion in every sports betting is involved but in cricket it is too much. In other countries to some extent betting in cricket has been legalised. There are certain benefits in legalising the betting and govt can earn some revenue. So there is no harm to legalise the betting.

I think if gambling is legal, then you should be able to gamble on any contest. I also think crickets make good bait.
Some people think football should be it's own religion. Praying to the God of Football. It's lame how some people take these things so seriously. It's a game.
Definitely bet on it. If you have the money, put it down. Then, you too can pray to your sports deity, and hope you don't lose your lunch money.

I am for Legal Betting in all sports.
When something is legal, people lose interest in it over a period of time.
That is natural human behaviour.
Also making it legal, the crime syndicates will be kept out of it to some extent.
