Need help with a virus!

The last 2 days when I'd finish clicking my PTC sites, my AV program would bring up a window that said it had found and deleted a virus. The information it gave me was Win32/adclicker.IV and the location as being in my temp files. The name of the file was tys8gdFK.exe. I guess I'm going to have to click one program at a time and close it out to see which one has the virus. Has anyone else had this happen? I saw some one else bring up the subject of a virus last week, but I can't find the discussion now.

I don't know how skillful you are in computer. For me, from my 10 years online experience, once get virus, the best and most efficient thing to do is format and rebuild the PC. It took me one or two days to rebuild pc in the past, later, I format PC into 2 partition, install programs in C and save all the files in D. so, every time, I can format PC without all the back up jobs, that made the whole rebuild time shorter, OS and all the favorite softwares can be re-installed within 4 hours. Now, things are getting better-- I use virtual machines. I firstly install and set up everything nicely in a clean virtual machine, then make a copy. Then, start using the copy. Whenever something not working well, I just throw it away and start using a new one. It takes just 5 minutes.

ummmm, your computer skills are. . .way over my head to say the least. If my anti virus program says it deleted the virus, isn't it gone?

Ok, thanks I'll try that. After I closed my browser and was working in a different program another little window popped up with a different virus name. I went in and reset my system to thursday and so far haven't seen any more notices. I know resetting the system won't do anything for virus, but it eliminated some other problems I was having.
