today is national grandparents day so.....  

tell us a favorite story about your grandparents, or if you are a grandparent tell us a favorite story about your grand kids, and if so Happy grandparents day. Here's my story....

when I was about 7/8ish I did something (can't really remember) but my grandmother thought I was "fibbing" (what she calls a lie) she told me to go outside and break a switch off the tree, well I didn't know what that meant so i go out to the tree and I look up at it, then my mom comes up to me and said "what are you doing?" I said grandma told me to break off a switch, will you get me one? well she told me no, and I asked her why she asked me to do that, and when she told me I then said, "mom do I have too" lol she told me no, so I ran back inside and when my grandma asked me if i broke her a switch, I said no my mommy said I didn't have to and ran. it wasn't funny back then but now that i look back it's funny because you should have seen me just looking at the tree thinking "gee how am i going to get way up there to get a switch" lol.
