What would you gift your friend on his birthday?

Its my friend's birthday tomorrow and I'm really confused as to what I'm supposed to present him.I want to present him something which he finds useful.

It'll be my birthday on 21st, and my husband asked ,e what i want on my birthday, he give me an argos catalogue and i choose a set of jewelry there, because he always buy a jewelry for me, if not undies. Ask you gf what she likes, take notice what she really like to collect or buy for herself everytime she go shopping and take her to a dinner date! don't forget the flowers! cheers :)
