if cars sales are down why are they still making cars?

if people are not buying that many new cars why do they continue to produce them.

For when they start buyuing again! also they are putting out the hybreads I wouldnt buy but hen aot of poeple will.

Because automobile manufactures are not going to shut down. and temporary decline in sales is common.

well i don,t know plenty are shutting down over here people are losting there jobs and people are not buying any cars here they have all sort of car sales here.

One of the mysteries of the automotive industry. Somewhat like if Ford is the number one selling car maker why do they continue to close factories and lay off their employees?
