Britney Spears and Rihanna

It is all over the news today. Britney's introduction of Rihanna. Many are saying that Britney looked like she is really trying to sober up this time. She did not do anything scandalous for this year's MTV awards night. For several days, people have been specualting what her role would really for the said night. Others even reported that she would be the opening number. Well, it turned out that she is....although she is not lip-synching this time, she just pre-recorded it! Do you think Rihanna felt like she is overpowered by Britney? After all she is the opening number, but no one is talking about it. Everyone is talking about how Britney introduced her!

In my opinion this years MTV awards sucked from the host to all of the performances except for kid rock he was the best one of them all. I was really disappointed that Britney ended up winning like all of the awards. I didn't really care for any of the songs she won for let alone the videos. I thought that Rihanna should have won over Britney. I just dont understand what all of Britneys fans see in her recent songs and videos. I do admit she seemed the most normal she has ever been at the awards last night so at least thats a good thing I guess.

I didnt know Britney had prerecorded! She did look great, though. I don't think Rihanna feels like that, and if she does, she shouldn't. The whole show was a bust and the only that anyone is really talking about is Britney - which is expected. She finally won this year and she didn't make a fool of herself. The rest is negative feedback, esp. about the host, Russell Brand. I've made a post and replied to a discussion about the VMAs already - and, as I've said, they should have gotten someone else to host. I knew no one would know who Russell is and I doubted many would find him funny. I think this year, MTV just had a low budget for the whole thing.
