I used to carry a little change purse that I put my coins in whenever I got change at the store. Now I just put the change in my pocket and the bills in my wallet.
At home, I have a little round wooden box that I put my pennies in. I also have a Starbucks bottle that I keep my nickels and dimes in. The other day, I rolled up about $19.50 in pennies, nickels, and dimes and I intend to use that to put gas in the car.

we are at the point where we need to save every penny we get. WE have 2 digital piggy banks, one for my son and one for us. My sons has all his change in it. Ours we only put silver coins in. WE keep an empty drink (koolaid) container to put our pennies in because we like to play card games like Michigan rummy with our pennies. It is not easy to save money but for some reason saving coins isn't that hard. We have $80.00 in our bank not to long ago but we had to spend it on groceries, now we are back to $10.00. When we go places and pay with cash we never give coins, we just take the change and put it in our pockets so when we get home we can put it in the jar. Thank you for letting me share.

I usually put change right back into my purse, and I try to spend it as quickly as possible.
