What do grad schools usually look for?

Are there any particular requirements for getting into grad school? Obviously getting good grades is probably important, and I've also heard that research is a big plus as well.
Besides those two though, are there any other important points?

I would probably list the most important aspects of your application in this order. First, grades are essential. They show that you can do academic work and succeed in a higher education environment. Next, you really need solid research experience. An admissions committee wants to know you have what it takes to defend a thesis and publish in scholarly journals. Recommendations from faculty members who know you well and can comment on your scholarly potential are essential. Some programs will also look at standardized test scores. Lastly, every school looks for certain intrinsic factors in applicants. Put your heart and your head into your personal statement. Think about what each school can offer you and what you can offer the school.
Hope this helps!

It will depend on the course and the school that you will be taking. I am almost done with my MBA and I remembered they asked for my GPA. Good thing I made the cut.
I would suggest you ask the school/university for their requirements.
Good luck!
