Small Dogs or Big Dogs?

Which do you prefer- a small dog or a big one??? I personally like small ones. I own a red haired dachshund. His name is max. I think I like small ones coz of my fear of dogs when I was smller. I saw my friend got bitten by a german shepherd in our village. I tend to feel uneasy around big ones even if they look so cuddly and cute. But I guess in my lifestyle and home setting a small dog is more applicable. How about you???

I used to always prefer big dogs, but now I lean more towards smaller ones. Right now I have 4 Miniature Schnauzers, and a Weimaraner (90 pounds). Smaller dogs are just easier to take care of, and in an emergency situation, you can easily pick them up and take them with you.
Even though I tend to prefer small dogs, I'll probably never be without at least one big dog. Usually I really don't choose what I get though- they just kind of end up here lol

I prefer medium size dogs such as a rough collie, though I would go for a smaller dog now such as a shetland sheepdog because of space reasons.

I like big dogs because they seem so natural and real. Small dogs seem fake and dont seem natural and its something about them. They are just so small.

Well, I beg to differ. I think there are some breeds that seem that way- all fake and spoiled. But there are breeds that are just as natural as certain big dogs. But I think there are just people that are much better caring for a big dog rather than a small one.
