When given the choice at a cookout or barbeque, do you usually choose the burger or the 'dog? What do you put on it? What drink goes best with it?

drinking - lemonade
I would pick the burger! I don't care for hot dogs so much... I like them but i don't know, i just can't bring myself to eat because someone told me what they are made from lol and its nasty. so i can't eat them now but i still love me a burger! preferably a cheese burger too with pickles! hehe I think lemonade, cherry coke, water, long island ice tea, regular sweet tea. and stuff like that go good with those meals.

I would usually pick the burger too. Can I assume you might be from the south? Sweet tea is something I believe is southern, right? Tell me, is the sweet tea at McDonald's OK to you? I thought it was pretty horrible but I've never had sweet tea of ANY kind before. Thanks for your response:)

hehe, Yep! I'm from south Florida. I've only had sweet tea from McDonald's a couple of times. A few good and a few bad. The first time i had it, it was really good! but there was one or two times that i got it and it was horrible! because it wasn't fresh. That might of been the problem when you ordered it or maybe you just don't like sweet tea? (if you've never had it before) and if it's not fresh, it won't taste very good.

Thanks! I really am an iced tea fan and I was disappointed that I didn't like it. Basically it tasted like sugar water. The tea flavor was completely lost to me. I'm not sure where else I could try any around here unless I can find me a southern friend.

Good question? Although, "Hotdog" is pretty bizarre too. I wonder what someone learning the English language must think of that one!:)

Yea, but it makes me wonder why "dog?" It's not made from dogs (thank goodness) and why would we want people to think it might be. Just a little "food" for thought:)

I would definitely choose a burger! I used to love hotdogs when I was younger, but for some reason they just gross me out a little now. I love a good grilled burger though! I always put cheese and pickles on it, and sometimes bacon, then I dip it in ketchup. Yummy!
