Need some quick cure for an ulcer on my tongue

I have been having a small but painfully burning ulcer near the tip of my tongue. I find it difficult to speak and eating is a pain. Do any of you know any quick cures for an ulcer? I would greatly appreciate it.
Otherwise, i guess I'll have to patiently wait for the seven days that it usually takes to heal!

I don't get ulcers any more but whenever I had one, I used to use bonjela. However, that used to sting like mad when it was first applied. You could also try rinsing your mouth with warm salty water. That is supposed to be a great cure for almost everything.
