We usually don't like it when we bring some food from home to school. Aside from the hassle that it costs us, the food will loose its magic for it turns cold just before the lunchbreak. On the other hand, food from the cafeteria tastes bad at times...plus the fact that you don't have any idea as to whose hands and which method was used for the food preparation..^^Both ideas have their own pros and cons..it's on us to judge...How about you? Which would you prefer? Bringing/buying food at school/work?

We get catered lunch here at work and it tastes nothing like home food. Although it's hot it does not seem to have much taste in it. I would much rather bring food from home and eat it cold then eat this catered food.

my daughter in highschool could buy from the cafeteria but their food is so expensive, so i pack her a lunch every day and that saves quite a bit of cash. they also have a microwave at school and we keep stuff warm in a thermos too.

If I have time, I bring snacks and lunch, but most of the time I can't because as you said, it's really hassle and I don't have enough time. The canteen cooks good food and tastes better so there's no problem if I can't bring food. Good day!
