Any News on the Return of 24

Hey i was curious if anyone knows when 24 will be returning, its been a while now and i have heard there have been several delays. I'm starting to forget what happened last season if they wait too long they are going to lose a huge fan base.
Any thoughts?

i am a big fan of 24 and just read that 24 is ahead of schedule on filming and have 8 episodes already done for season 7. i cant wait.. im going to do a marathon to get ready for this, i own the first 6 seasons. the show will be back in january

24 will return to us next year,maybe Jan,2009.We still need to be patience.If you forget what happen in the last season,no doubt just go throught them immediately.I was doing these for the 1-5 season last month`~Jack will come back to us~~24 still has 4 season in total waiting~lol

The first two hours will air on Sunday, January 11 at 8pm. The next day, Monday, January 12, FOX will air the third and fourth hours of the season at 8pm once again. From there, 24 should air one episode, without interruption, every Monday.

i read somewhere that season 7 will be on on january 2009, and they made a movie which is supposed to be realeased (as a prequel) before season 7 starts. then i read they had some delays with shooting the finale (i believe) and they had to edit a lot of the script or something..

so season 7 starts in january as long as they get the finale finished in time? Well i hope thats the case because thats one of the only shows i watch on tv.
