should i be guilty of liking the guy i admire?  | |  let me get it straight first, i have broken up with my bf of four years, the only bf i had. thats it. it has been a few months since the break up. i feel guilty because i think its still to early for me to like someone else. well, my ex is already courting someone else, a friend of mine, but i dont take it against either of them in fact i am happy for them.
im sure im not inlove with this other guy (yet, just in case). i just sort of admire him. sometimes i feel guilty, even though im not in a relationship now.
that is not the only reason why i'm guilty. a friend likes this same guy. i always tell her that my feelings toward the guy is just admiration. but i still feel guilty being happy when the guy talks to me. as a clarification, the guy is also our friend, a new friend. he's a thoughtful guy, sweet one, maybe because he has a sister. my friend flirts with him, and though i get jealous sometimes, its fine with me. i know i just like him, im not inlove with him.
well, the guy is actually sweet and caring when he talks to me. my friend, and another friend, tell me that the guy seem to like me because of his reactions when we suddenly speak of my ex, but its me who would chase their thoughts away. i dont want to taint the friendship this guy and i share. i really want to have our friendship last. he's a true friend.
and now, i find myself guilty, but even i cant explain why.

That's dangerous waters for friends to tr-ed (two liking the same guy) because it can only cause problems. We feel guilty when we are doing wrong on purpose and we might also feel ashame of it so when you have already broken up with your boyfriend then there is no guilt in wanting to be happy again infact it is your right to be happy so live your life fully. You have a right to have feelings and in this case you might wait for some time to see if it is good to tell the guy now or just cherish the friendship you both share.
