I am listening to this on the t.v right now and it is hard not to feel bad for all these people that were asked to evacuate and not know when they get back if they are going to have a house standing . I cannot imagine the fear that would run though me if I was asked to evacuate my home or the fear one would have knowing that everything they worked there whole life for , could be gone when they get home . Do you know anyone living in this area ? Does this cause you worry because you have family or friends living there ? Do you think it is fair that they have upped the gas prices knowing that these people need gas to get out of the area ?

I heard about that to on the radio it sounds really bad for those people and I am glad I don't live there . Too bad we couldn't help them out somehow because it must be hard leaving your home and not knowing if you have a place to go to or to come home ot when it is over .

Those poor people I don't know much about this cause I didn't hear about it but I wouldn't want to have to evacuate my place and where are they all going to go . Was it a lot of people that had to leave . The weather is really messed up lately and getting worse all the time . Global warming is doing a lot of this .

I did hear about this because it has been all over the radio and the t.v . Thank god we don't live in an area that we have to worry about hurricanes or tornados . We get wind but not like that . I can't imagine all them people that had to evacuate and leave there homes and not know if they will have one to come back to . It really is sad , hope they all end up having a place to stay .

Hi sam.. I do feel for all the people that live in Texas and other places that are affected by these storms and such..I have never gone through any of that and pray I never do...I would be scared out of my wits.... Not knowing is probably the worst...and having to leave and where to go can't be any easier...I feel for those that don't have the money to get where they need to go.... I just heard Ike is huge and dangerous just now on the radio...They are telling everyone to leave....It isn't a good thing...105 mile an hour winds....and 50 foot waves...

I was watching CNN,I heard that the down town of Houston was damaged severely with lot of damages to tall buildings.I also heard some tornado warning s been issued to people living in Louisiana, thats a bad sign either.I have never faced any such disaster right before my eyes,I feel so bad for all those people who are affected by the sea surge and the heavy gust.Nearly 4 million people are in dark, lets pray God to help them from their troubles.God Bless each and everyone of us.Thank You
