I look more forward to Christmas. This is the day when my child's eyes light up with all the gifts and knowing that Santa came and brought her something. It's always exciting to see what others got and then the rest of the family comes over and we celebrate with lots of food. We usually have the same thing at Thanksgiving as well but that's fine with me.
We cook a turkey and have 2 types of stuffing (i like the stuff from the box)
We usually have 2 types of potatoes (rominoff and creamed mashed for my grandmother)
Candied Yams
Maple carrots
Cheesey Couliflour
Gravey
Cranberry sauce
MMMMM...just writing about it is making me want it!

Here in the Philippines we do not usually celebrate Thanksgiving. What we look forward to is Christmas. It is the most celebrated holiday here in our country. It starts we the "Misa de Gallo" on the 16th of December until January 6. There are a lot of foods prepared for this holiday but we also have the traditional ones. Like the "keso de bola","nilagang manok or beef", "haleyang ube",for my family it won't be complete without the "suman bulagta" and "asadong manok". We also have seafoods like, shrimps, crabs and ham. The traditional "rice cakes", "tamales", "puto kutchinta", fruit salad, lots of fruits and many more. It is a holiday that must be celebrated with the whole family so, we prepare a "feasts", Filipinos love eating and enjoy it as well. But now, with the rising prices of everything, i think we will have to lessen on the variety of dishes and just have a couple but will never let Christmas go by without celebrating, no matter how hard life seems.
