Movies for eight year old kids

Can you suggest a list of movies for an eight year old kid? Which movies do your children liked best?

Disney's and Pixars are a safe bet for most but I have met people here that think KungFu Panda is not suitable for children so I think it is best to gauge it on your own beliefs and comfort levels. I don't sensor my children but that is just what makes me comfortable. To each their own. LOL So for my 7 and 9 year olds, their favorite movies are Nightmare Before Christmas and almost anything by Tim Burton. We are big Halloween fans (just the plain fun of it) and like many Halloween movies. I think for eight years old they still like the cartoony type movies. Heck so do I LOL
