Mean employers  email this discussion to a friend?

How many times have you realized that you were really just not working out in the job that you were in because your employers were mean? My friend is working at a regular 9-5 job and he is very upset with his employers. Either they don't pay him enough for what he does, or they are always writing him up for stupid things; example he is a mechanic and he left an oil filter which was still packaged out on the desk to help a customer.

How ridiculous is that. He actually got a real write up for that. So how many of you are in the same boat with him. He's realizing that he is being singled out at work because some of the other mechanics there do the same stuff and some worse, and he is the one who gets written up for it. Do you ever feel like your being singled out by your employer and wish for a new one, with same or better pay. Let me know and I will be sure to let him see.

People who are working under another person is forced to meet these circumstances because of many things, like they may have to show their feelings to somebody for that the subordinate is the person. I am sure there is no place where u can get reward always. Please bear this and fit it to you which will be the one fitted to you.

Very true but they don't have to be singled out that's bordering the line of harrassment, and is uncalled for. Harrassment in the workplace should never be tolerated, and I have let my friend know that he needs to go ahead and let his boss know that what they are doing is called harrassment and there are laws protecting him as an employee.

He if he can prove it is being harrassed, and there is no justness in that. It should be handled appropriately and firmly.

I agree with you 100%!
Getting a write up for something as ridulous as that, well, plain and simple, it is ridulous!!!
Sounds like to me, a jealous employee is out to get him! Maybe his boss feels like he is trying to get his job, or maybe your friend is doing such a good job, his boss is worried about his own job.

I wish your friend the best of luck!

Thank you so much and i will be sure to let him know. I think the exact same thing. Either he is jealous, or feels that his job is in jeopardy. Whichever it is it's uncalled for and wrong. I completely agree with you that write up was ridicilous and something definately needs to be done about. I really do think that it is harrassment.

The way I see it right now my friend has about three options, one is to confront the boss and let him know that he is getting harrassed and wishes it to stop. The second is to let the Department of Labor know. And the third although not the highest rated one is to quit, if it becomes that unbearable and all the while be filing a case with the Depatment of Labor. Somethings are just wrong, and what is happening to him is exactly that. Thanks for the responce.

Yeah, I am not sure about the DEpartment of Labor. I have never had any dealings with them, and not sure what they would do about this situation.

Surely he can get a job somewhere else, right? Shoot, a good mechanic can work from works and make way more money sometimes, you know what I mean? But, not every one is suite for working from home, some people just don't have what it takes to support themselves just working from home.

Good luck!
