some friends say that they would buy something that they need out of that P20,000. Others say they will buy what they want. well, one should choose a smart choice since nowadays, every centavo counts, especially to those who are not that fortunate. how about you? what would you do if you have this amount? specifically folks from the philippines?

Most probably I would invest it or put it in a bank for emergency purposes. 20,000 pesos are hard to find in our country usually you have to work for it about a month to earn it. Happy mylotting!

okay if i do have an extra 20thousand bucks now i have three things in mind to do. so here are my options:
1. i would buy right away a franchise of hapi haus donuts or
2. use that money for purchase of DXN products OR
3. start investing in Manulife insurance

I didn't bother to check your profile to see if you're from the Philippines and for this, I am sorry but I suppose you also live here, just like me. An additional twenty thousand pesos will be easy for me to dispose of and I would say that all of this amount will certainly go to paying a portion of our outstanding obligation with credit card companies. To date, we have a forty thousand pesos balance from our two inactive credit cards.
Aside from this, we also have substantial loans from various individuals (including my mom and younger sister), pawnshops, government, and loan agencies. My spouse and I do have separate jobs but despite being employed, we still find it very difficult to make ends meet. Almost all of my salary goes to paying the utility bills, house rent, and my daily transportation fare. In fact, our daughter isn't with us at the moment and instead, we decided to leave her under the care of my mom in the province because admittedly, we can't afford to hire the services of a nanny.
If I will be given this particular amount, I know that it will ease our burden somehow; knowing that our debts will be decreased.

I think 20,000 has a lesser value now than it is a decade ago. Now you can easily spend on grocery stuffs for a month. But nevertheless having an extra 20,000 is very hard to have nowadays especially if you're just an ordinary worker. But if you have the luxury to think about where to put 20,000. I think you better keep the 10,000 and invest the other 10,000. Just like what they say a good investor never go all or nothing. you can easily invest 10,000 on buy and sell. Or some other investment ideas. BUt never go all the way.

Php 20,000 is not such a big amount anymore here in the Philippines, right? everything is just so expensive. I guess I would save a portion of it for the "rainy days", enjoy part of it and some buy things we need. I will see first what my daughter needs before what my husband or I need. I will also offer some to the Church for thanksgiving. You are right, EVERY cent counts indeed.
However, this is still better than nothing. It is not everyday that we get this amount.
