I am working each day on my positive thoughts and affirmations, they are working for me. And It seems that while I might still have a somewhat disturbing dream that I am having more and more good dreams and more good days, except that I do not mention the good dreams as much as the dreams that disturb me. Are the same as me? Do you focus more on the bad dreams than the good? Have positive thoughts made a difference in your life?

It's good to know this is working for you. I'm a very positive minded person now, and I do have fewer bad dreams than I used to, but I still have a few of those repetitive anxiety dreams. The difference is, from the moment I wake up to the time I go to bed, I do have a more positive attitude. Those dreams don't have a bad affect on me, except to make me realize there are things I need to attend to and sort out in my life. Whenever a stray negative thought enters my mind, which is not often, I can banish it and replace it with something better. I have been practicing positive thinking for a few years now, and it has changed my attitude to life, though I think there are also other factors which have influenced the change in my moods.

First thanks for your response. And second I agree with you. I have been practicing positive thoughts for a short time, maybe 3 months and it has made a difference to me so far. Certain situations that fill me with anxiety and dread are kinda gone. I also believe that my bad dreams are a sign that I need to work on certain issues. I wish I could banish some of my nightmares forever tho.

I am always positive! Even though I may feel negative vibes around me, due to current situations, I try to stay positive about everything! I set forth plans and goals for myself, I vent the negative things to reinforce positive feedback from one source or another, which may be myself! Taripre$

Trust me when I say, it didn't come easy! Had to train myself to be that way, or else I probably would have went crazy! Taripre$

You do seem to mention the bad dreams or at least the strangest of the dreams Positive thinking does seem to be giving you more good than bad though so that's a plus all by itself

Oh yeah thinking positive really makes the difference, it reflects in you when you are one optimistic person and people do notice. This is an example, there were two old woman, the other one is very cheerful and the other one is grumpy, they were waiting in line for a ride home, one of the driver offers a seat to the cheerful old lady. see? people are more attracted to people who have positive vibes.

You know thos AXE commercials ? Where Ben Afflec has that small metal counter and he counts on it all the girls that he picked up ? And then the AXE weariong nerd has more girls than Ben ? Well I bough an AXE once just to have a counter like that, and on it you can count anything. Now I use it sort of like Buddhist monks use prayer beads, to count good thoughts actively. I can use it for Affirmations, or Visuals with me being however I want to be. Each morning I reset it, and then try to have that number as high as possible, by evening. I'm sure that before long, this sort of positive thinking will become more and more automatic, and there we go, instant positive mind :D

It is a good tip and advice, and you are right, one day it will be more natural for you to have positive thoughts, after all that is the same way (without the counter tho) that some people become negative. Thanks for sharing.
