Well well my friends. I have found the answers..or so i think. As those of you know who read my past discussion, i thought that everything was ok becasue my friends daughter gave me the 25 bucks back, because seh wasnt sure what happened to the money, but felt i shouldnt be out the money either. Well my friend (not the daughter) spent the night at my house this weekend. I had no cash in my house or anything valuable that i was concerned with (or at least i didnt think i did) Well afte she left Sunday morning, it was discovered that 3 scrip meds that hubby and I had from previous illnesses adn injuries (pain meds) were missing. I then got a call today from a friend who's house Friend A and myself had been to last week for a short period of time, and was told that she had some of her pain meds go missing. I called hubby and had him check where i keep my wedding ring (i dont always wear it) and because it wasnt out in the wide open i never thought of the fact that it was even accessible so never moved it from its place. Well...ITS GONE! I checked everywehre though i know i never put it anywhere but in this same little trinket box..i have the whole time i have had it. So i called her, told her the stuff was missing and that i know it was her because there was no other person that could have done it, she never tried to deny it she never said a word i told her our friendship was over and she said OK...can you believe it! My friend and I then called the police and filed a report, as we were concerned she might sell the meds and be stupid enough to give the person she sells them to, the bottle with our names on it. Well we didnt need it coming back to us for selling them..so we covered our behinds. They asked if i wanted to prosecute on the ring..as much as i hate her right now, i dont want to destroy the womens life..however, if i thought they would go to her house and she had the ring where they can find it, i would totally go through with it..but she has pawned her own wedding ring, so i know dang well she pawned mine by now. In fact she asked me for 3 bucks to take the bus somehwere on monday, rather than asking me for a ride to weherever it was...i drove her everywhere, so taht was odd. I bet she took the bus to the pawn shop. I know which shop she had hers at, so tomorrow I am going there and telling them im looking to buy myself a ring, and going to describe my ring and see if they have it...if so i am calling the police back and they said they can then go from there to prosecute her. it was a very unique custom made ring, so its not like there were several if even 2 of them out there. I have never met anyone i felt i coulndt trust...boy has this changed how i will be about trusting people in the future.
