Out of my routines as a habit i used to save some pennies lying at end of day in my pocket, I keep a box in my home which i cald as TANA TONS and i used to put Rs.10/- (0.25$) notes in that. The no of notes depends on what ever lying in my purse it may zero or 10. Do you have habit of saving pennies everyday

Yes! I think it has become my addiction nowadays. Every morning and also in the evening, I always try to feed my piggy bank. Lol. I love to save for the future and for my future businesses and it's better to start now even just with pennies. In the long run, when they accumulate then I have some amount handy. ;D

I do save pennies once in a while but not totally do it religiously. I have a coin bank in our house where I put those pennies that will be coming out of my pocket everyday but I do have a bank account and that is really where my savings go.

We usually throw all of our change into a coffee can and when we have a lot accumulated, count it out and spend it on something. The can generally gets hauled out when we're tight on money and need to buy something!

I save my change in a large plastic bottle. I use my debit card for most things so don't use much cash, but I go through my wallet every so often and leave one or two of each coin, and take out the rest and put it in the bottle. I had quite a bit accumulated at one time, but last year I had to use the laundromat a few times so there went all my coins.

Hi Krish! I have this habit of saving pennies. When I was in my school days,I use to collect 5INR and 2INR,as that was the time they were released in India.Within 4 months time I made nearly 2000INR and that was the first time I deposited that money in my bank account. From that day on im trying to lessen the expenditure. Its good to save money for the latter days.Thank you for having this discussion.Good luck to you.

Hi Rkrish, I really don't have any such good habits. Sometimes I think about the same but never able to do it. We also have some boxes but rarely putting the money in it. It is a good habit I really appreciate you. If we are able to save Rs.1/- per day is good. I think I have to develop an interest in the same. All the best to you, Keep it up, all the good habits.

I do save all of my small change, the copper and the five pence pieces more so than anything, but lol there are a few one pound coins in my little savings too!!I have done it for years ,it becomes second nature to want to save all the coinage, and I have a large tin that I regularly throw it into.Later in the year I will put it all into a carrier bag and then take it off to the local supermarket, where there is a change machine,I pour the change into the top of it,and it then produces a voucher for me to take to customer service, they then give me the notes instead of the change.I know the last timee that I did it I had nealy forty pounds in my tin, which I was quite thrilled about.
