New ride!

I am wondering about the new rollercoaster ride that will open next year at Universal called 'Rip, Ride, Rock it' as it seems that media says it will be spring but to be honest the Simpsons ride should have been spring and that didn't end up opening until May!
I only ask as I am going for 3 weeks in March 2009 and I really don't think it will be complete as works haven't even begun have they? Does anyone know if work has begun and know any more info as it would be such a shame to miss out on it!

I hadn't really heard about the new ride. I've only been there once, and it was right before the Simpson's opened up. Long drive from Indiana.
Is it a themed ride? Or just a coaster.

It is a rollercoaster where whilst in the queue you pick which song from loads that you want to listen to and then it plays in the speaker much like Aerosmith rollercoaster - however the ride also films each rider so at the end you can purchase the ride video. It is supposed to be going around the whole park and even out over the lake and back into the park but not sure if that is just rumour! : )
I really wish it would be open as we are coming from the UK - if it isn't it's a whole lot of waiting until we can save for another trip back to Florida!
