So I'm logged into myspace then when I close the window and open a new one, I have to sign in AGAIN. This doesn't happen with Firefox, however I want to fix it with IE as well. Help please!

well, i don't use IE that much, but its probably a cookie thing. if you close the window and exit out of IE then it will probably log out of anything you're logged into. if you have cookies active, it may save the email and pass, but you'll still have to log in. from what i know about myspace, if you don't physically log out and just browse through the internet and return to myspace, you'll still be logged it. just don't close the browser and open up a new one. its like starting over i imagine. hope this helps a little bit.

I fixed my cookies but still doesn't work. I opted not to use it for my program. Stick with Firefox I guess.

In Control Panel, choose Internet Options and uncheck the box that says "Delete browsing history on exit". I'm not sure what's really the problem though but this will help. It keeps the information intact so you don't necessarily have to log in again when you open another window. Hope this helps! :)

I checked then it says that I keep my data for 20 days before the browser erases it. I'm using IE7 by the way. I'm writing a program that involves having to maintain the profiles of the user - I opted to use Firefox just to solve that problem. Thanks for the help!
