Are pistachios good for you?...............................................

I'm sitting here at work (a local high school) and in comes a parent checking up on his daughter. He was eating a bag of pistachios and I asked for some. Well, soon after I ate the few he gave me, I ran out of my office in search of the parent with the pistachios because they were delicious. So are they good for you because I ate quite a few, LOL! Pistachios are supposed to be really good at lowering cholesterol. Just go with the low or no salt ones though so you will not have problems from the salt. The California Nut Board has been really pushing the health benefits of Pistachios the last two years. And to me they are delicious.
