What do you miss? |
|
I use to live in Arizona a long time ago when i was much younger i have some fond memory about it and sometimes i really miss it, one of the things i remember most is siting in the backyard with my sister on a hot summer day watching the birds and listening to the radio and picking the pink roses off of the rose bushes we use to have and i remember how hot it was and how my sister use to complain because there was this cartoon we use to watch called the dinosucers and she and i wanted to be inside watching that but my parents thought we watched to much tv so they would make us go out side, but my sister got tired of complaining after a while and we would start having fun, and we would catch butterflies and grass hoppers with this homemade net my sister made, and anyway i remember that the heat was dry and one time it started to rain while we were out side and my mom told us to come inside but we were having so much fun that we asked her if we could stay out side and play under the canape while the rain came down those are the things i miss and the Arizona air, but anyway is there anything you miss like people or a places.

| 1. lsbarry3 (4) | 1 year ago | Yea, I miss my brother who was taken away from us at a very early age. He was my best friend. Although I have other siblings that I love dearly, this brother and I were close.
What I miss most are the talks we had. Someone to share my most inner thoughts with, things I could not tell to anyone else who would know the right thing to say and knew exactly how I felt.

2. Humbug25 (4101) | 1 year ago | Hi there apples99
I visited Arizona when I was living in the US for a while. Just thought I would mention that.
When my brothers and I were younger my parents used to go out to this place called the Princess Pavillion which used to have live bands on in the evening and was like a huge beer garden and had a theatre there too. They would buy us a glass of coke each and a packet of peanuts and when we had finished that we would play outside and run around the grandstand that was in the middle of the garden and just play chase in the evenng sun. We visited earlier this year but it was really quiet and nothing was open, but then it was the daytime.

Humbug25 (4101) | 1 year ago | I liked it very much. What I did was take like a travelling bus from New York to San Fransisco which took about 14 days and visited various places on route. We stopped off at the Grand Canyon of course but on one of the sides that is really quiet, East maybe, can't remember and stopped there overnight. It was amazing. We found like this pool that was surrounded in reeds and enclosed it was really cool and the water was warm. Anyway I have an aunty that lives in Yonkers and would love to come out to see her, haven't seen her in 8 years! Too long!

| 4. trmiller1 (14) | 12 months ago | I miss the days when I was a kid. Not all things but a lot of things. I am now what some would call middle-aged and I think of how it was when I was young and we had someone to take care of us with things we needed. I have found getting older isn't much fun, LOL.
