can you stop drinking alcohol drinks?

hello this is my 1st time to post here i was really excited to all the responses that i will receive i was just thinking if I'm going to stop drinking alcohol beverages because my girlfriend really want me to stop for almost five years of our relationship she's always asking me to stop it then I'm going to stop just for a week then I'll drink again guys what do you think is the best ways to stop drinking alcohol drinks?

The only way that you will finally stop drinking is if YOU want to stop. Telling your girlfriend you will stop will not work for long, you truly have to want to give up drinking. Once you make that decision you just need to stick to it, just remember why you made the decision. Quit going to the places that you normally drink at, that will help
