have you ever been on a train? when was the last time you were on one?

My son and I took a 5 and a half hour train ride with Amtrack from Washington DC to Connecticut. I have an Aunt and Uncle who live there so we went to spend a few days with them last year.

I have taken a number of train trips. I took at teals three from where I live to New York City and one to Chicago. I like trains. I know they can be dangerous but so can ANYTHING. They are roomy and comfy and they have dining cars with decent food and nice bathrooms. The overnight trip I took, I had my own little room with a bed/cot, a curtain to close for privacy, a bathroom, etc. I loved it. The rocking of the train lulled me to sleep and I had a great trip. I do worry about head ons and such but cars can get into accidents and planes can have all kinds of trouble so I just go on the train and put any fears aside. I truly enjoy train trips!

when I traveled through Denmark in the early 1990s, my mother, grandfather and I toook a lot of trains. We took trains from one end of Denmark to the other. It was a load of fun.

The last time I was on a train was during my senior year of highschool. We took an Amtrak train to Florida for our senior trip. We thought about flying but for some reason decided not to, probably because it was cheaper. We road the train down and back again. It wasn't the best ride because it was quite a long ride. I have not been on a train since.

Oh really! I have to travel daily in train to and from my office.

My last time on a train came to be September,2009 when I went back to school. It was 24 hours being on the train,really a long journey.
