Do you fall asleep while travelling long distances?

I don't usually sleep when I travel for the very reason that I don't want to get laughed at by other people when I fall on someone else's shoulders. But I do find it amusing when I see people sleeping while traveling. Sometimes it's really irritating when it's my shoulders they fell upon. Argh.

It doesn't matter even if it's a short trip or a long one, I fall asleep instantly. I like the steady rhythm of the car and it's like hushing me to sleep. I look awful when I fall asleep in the car but I don't really care that much. What matters to me is that I get some rest whenever I can :D

No I never manage to fall asleep during travelling because I am always on the look out to see new scenery and places. I remember that after a six hour journey by busy from the desert in Tunisia I was the only passenger with my eyes wide open.

Yes many times. After my work i will ride a jeepney and then i will fall asleep. I cant control it. I am really sleepy after working. YOu are right its really damn funny sometimes i will just laugh myself when i notice that i almost had my head to the shoulder of the person nearest me lol.

I sometimes fell asleep when I'm in a bus, specially when I'm taking the air-conditioned one. But I'll make sure I have plenty of space to rest my head so I won't take the fall whenever sudden brakes are applied to the bus. These cases are applicable to me whenever I am traveling long distance, cause I want to rest for awhile while taking the ride, but in instances where travel time doesn't take an hour I stay up on my senses and just observing the environment. I also witness those who take a ride and sleep then fall on someone near him. It didn't make me laugh yet I'm thinking for myself maybe s/he is tired of his/her busy day. I also have someone that fall on me while she sleeps, that makes her lean on my shoulder, I just let her sleep on my shoulder, I didn't mind at all.
