It's less than 100 days until Christmas. This link will do the countdown for you. I bookmarked so it's easier for me to keep track. I received an error with Firefox but it works well with IE

Have you even started your Christmas shopping yet???
Do you have any idea what you're going to buy for those you plan on giving gifts???
Are you going to be standing in line on Christmas Eve hoping to get your gifts???
What do you plan to give me for Christmas???
What do you want for Christmas???
Got any Christmas stories you wish to share???

95 more days. Its Sunday 6:30am here now. the TV and radio do the count down. The kids are very excited. We are now planning our trip to be with relatives. Plane fare will be expensive but definitely worth it. I will start buying gifts after haloween. I already have plans what to get.
I do have christmas stories to share,I hope you can find my discussion about the Philippines' starts christmas carols and decors on the first day the BER months. That would be on September1.
Merry Christmas LadyMarissa.

An early Merry Christmas right back at you!!! I'll be sure to look for your discussion on Christmas in the Philippines. I love hearing how other cultures celebrate their holidays.

Hi LadyMarissa,
No I am not thinking about Christmas at all and not looking forward to it, as its all about spending and I haven't got enough money to spend, every year is the same and my husband moans and whine about putting the tree up and it always me that do it, we have no children so it is usually going to my sister's house and spend it with them. I hate Chrestmas now, since my mother has passed.

If he can't put up the tree, I wouldn't buy him a Christmas present either. When I lived a long way from my parent's home, I NEVER put up a tree. I just enjoyed theirs when I visited for Christmas. My money is tighter this year & I'm making a list of close family & friends who I care enough about to spend my money on them. And I'm making a list of people who made me feel like they really didn't want to exchange gifts in the past. I can save them some money this year!!!

Christmas again, the days are just zooming by, going too fast if you ask me. I stopped buying for the adults, just the kids in the family. The adults will get a gift on their birthdays. You spend money and it takes too long to pay it all off.

Being almost an adult, I'd like to point out that you missed my birthday this year!!! So you owe me a Christmas present followed by a birthday present next year!!! I destroyed every credit card I had 4 years ago. Now I use cash & carry. So I try to start buying gifts in January. This year I didn't do so good!!! With the situation with Mom, I doubt my family will be exchanging gifts this year

I, too, love Christmas...NOT just for the gifts. It is a time of birth, love, & peace. It's the perfect way to close out the year & bring in the New Year!!! I do hope you have a WONDERFUL Christmas!!!!!!

How are you NOT giving yourself an anxiety attack? LOL
I am about top declare Christmas a no-gift zone around here. Money is tight right now, I am sure by then we will be much better off, but I am tired of wasting hundreds of dollars at Christmas.

I REFUSE to ruin my health over it!!! My gift list is much shorter than it used to be. As money gets tighter, I feel that a lot of my friends will say Let's not swap gifts this year. I had one request that last year. She now has 9 grand kids & would prefer to spend her money on them & that is fine with me. I might go back to giving hand made gifts & anyone who doesn't appreciate it can kiss my butt!!! I was raised that it's the thought that counts NOT the amount of money spent. My parents used to get an apple or orange from their parents. I think now is as good a time as any to return to our roots!!! I hope you have a lean yet VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

May God bless you for your attitude!!! I remember in the good old days when people were pleased with whatever you thought of to give them. I used to make ALL my gifts by hand. Now days my friends hand me a list of what they want...Some so expensive I wouldn't buy it for myself!!! Merry Christmas to you & I hope you enjoy the new baby. Maybe you will bless us ALL with a Santa holding the screaming baby pic once the holiday actually gets here. You know the one you can blackmail him with for the rest of his life???

It's almost Christmas time again? I thought we just had it very recently. hahaha Christmas comes around almost as quickly as birthday's. I have started getting a few wish lists items from my daughter for her, her husband and son. I will do most of my shopping sitting right here at my computer like I did last year. It was so nice having it all done way before Christmas last year and wrapped and not doing that at the last minute. Now that is not how my husband and son do it, they are some of those who are out right before Christmas Eve.
What do I want for Christmas? I just want all of my family and friends to be healthy and happy.
What will I give you for Christmas? I will give you so many best wishes for a great Christmas and that you and your family and friends will also be healthy and happy.
I have so many Christmas stories but will not go into them now......whew, talk about a long discussion....hahaha Don't want to bore you.

I'll be waiting on your gift. As sick as part of my family is, I will be thrilled with happy & healthy!!! You know I'm sending happy & healthy right back to you!!! My brother is a computer shopper too. I've always loved going Christmas shopping. Unfortunately, the friends saying All I want is this & I need to mortgage my house to buy it has taken some of the fun out of it

You don't have to be a Christian to enjoy the Christmas season!!! I have a good friend who lives in Ulm & he has told me of the beauty of the country during the Christmas season!!! I love driving through my neighborhood during Christmas just to see how beautiful the houses look when decorated!!!
