What would you do if you were in the middle of a serious meeting or formal gathering then you're the center of attention when suddenly you let out a big nasty fart? Yikes.

I don't know. I would die in shame and excuse myself perhaps. Here in the Philippines, they don't treat farting as something natural. People here would think you're disgusting.

If that happened to me I'd just make a joke about some sort of food that I ate.

Here at ___ we take*fart*. Ahh I really needed to do that bad, must have been those baked beans. Let me just open up a window.

It's sort of silly, you'd never do it, you'd hold it in until you were almost bursting, especially if it's an serious meeting. If things did really get worse you'd ask if you could go to use the restroom.
