More wildlife duirng my walk

Well, today was definitely the day for the animals to be out. In addition to the numerous deer I saw today, I also came across a snake. Literally. I actually had to wait for it to go across the path so that I could walk by. It was at least 3 feet long, but probably not 4 feet.

I would have to wait for it to go also, I am so afraid of snakes I might have had to walk the other way.

Eh, I'm not afraid of them and have handled many. In the wild though, I try to let them be.

I have a phobia against snakes. WE had one on our door step. I got so scared I was going to go back to town and stay there until it left. Mind you we did have thee doors I could go through, I did not think of going through another door.
We live in town now and I have not seen a snake for a long time.

Eh, it was just a black snake, no biggie really. Now that it's not so hot out they'll be around a bit.
During the week I walk in our neighborhood so I don't expect I'll see too many animals for a while :)
