They call me almost every day to collect on a credit card debt that I owe.
The first person I spoke with kept annoying the hell out of me. She called me 5 days straight.
She kept asking me every day the same question, how was I going to resolve this issue. I had already told her over and over I don't have the money. My financial situation has not changed in the past 24 hours I told her. Told her to put a lein on the house because that is the only way I would be able to pay.
She kept telling me if I don't work out some sort of payment arrangement that the bank is going to get their money one way or the other. I already know that because I have a lein on my home from another bank already.
I told her again, I don't have the money, i said you know what, just put me down as a refusal.
I really don't know what else to tell this woman.
Yesterday, another woman from the same company called. It's annoying because I really don't have the money and I already told the first lady to put a lein on my house. It is up for sale. That is how I am going to resolve the issue. This woman would not hear of it.
She asked me to ask my ex husband for the money, asked me to ask my ex mother in law if I could transfer the balance to her credit card. I did that and my ex cant do it and my ex mother in laws cards are maxed. Thats what I told her but she still won't hear it.
The last time I spoke to her, she would not let me get a word in. She kept talking over me so I wound up hanging up on her.
I have had other collection agencies call me but they don't call me every single day. Once I say I don't have the money they say ok and that is the end of it.
This agency is more agressive in their tactics. They can't get from me what I don't have.
Can they call me every day to collect the debt? In my opinion that is harrassment.

That is indeed harrassment and they are already meddling with your personal life... which i think is not a professional thing to do... if i were in your shoes... i would certainly just hang up rather than waste my time listening and explaining to them over and over again my situation... i could have used that time is working here in mylot... and earn a few money that i can eventually use to pay them out slowly...

You are right about the meddling. She even went as far as to ask me why me and my ex are divorced. I told her but I didn't think it was any of her business. It came as a shock when she asked me. No other agencies get so personal know what I mean?

You are welcome. They still call almost every day. Did not hear from them today or yesterday and I am relieved.
