Many said that call center jobs are very in demand right now. So that many people nowadays enrolled in English fluency course and call center training because they believe that it is a great job and has a big income to be a call canter agent. And they said that it has many benefits in this job. Do you believe on it? Is it true?

i don't know... i used to work at a call center. i really didn't like it very much. the money was ok, but they were kindof stict. it was for adt, which is a home and business security system company. my job was dealing with the technicians who went out everyday to either install the security systems or repair them. they would call in to our center every morning to get the list of their jobs for the day, and then have to call and check in when they were done with each one and before they started the next. we basically recorded all the work they did and took care of the billing information and things like that. it was not too difficult once i got the hang of things, but sitting on the phone in front of a computer in a small cubicle is just not for me. the money wasn't too bad, though- but then again, i was working full-time- and the benefits i received came from working full-time, not because i worked at a call center. the one bad thing was that we were open 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. there were no days that we closed, not even on christmas, because if someone had trouble with their system or an alarm was going off or something, we had to be open and available for that. :(
