How to start a women's circle?

As everyone knows, women enjoy the pleasure of meeting in groups of other women for a wide variety of reasons for hundreds of years. Different ages build up different groups like craft groups, religious groups, charity groups and even entertainment groups. When you would like to join a women's circle, what will you do? I do not belong to any such circle myself,but I do see how they can be good meeting places for people.I know that our local church has an Alpha group and they have regular meetings and get togethers.I am sure if anyone was to take a look around they would find many such groups available in their area,and yes I would think that they are a great source of enjoyment for many people.

I don't where you are in the world, but in England the first place would be to hire a hall, put some adverts in the shop windowsnd invite people to an informal meeting to discuss what they really want/good day to meet on/time etc. Hope that helps
