do you like it when people visit you when you are sick?

i'm ok with people visiting me when i'm sick, but honestly, as much as i appreciate the gesture, there are some people that i don't want to come visit me when i'm sick. it's the type that you have to get up and entertain and make small talk with... when i'm sick i don't have the patience to do that. i do it anyway so as not to be rude, but i keep wishing they'd leave so i can go lie down and rest.

i don't get sick very often don't remember the last time all God's grace but yes indeed it feels very pleasant to see that people love and care for you and they give you importance and give you some time
so be happy and its a natural feeling that you get

actually i do like it when i get visitors like the last time i was in the hospital, my aunts and uncles came to visit me and it really made me feel better. it's just those types of visitors that act as "visitors" and they seem to still expect to be entertained even though they did come to visit because you are sick.

Nope, not at all. I would feel and look terrible; and don't really want to spread my illness to anyone. It's hard having to entertain people when you're feeling so bad; and seeing the sympathy in their eyes is really beyond me!

No I want to be left alone in peace.I just cannot repeat the story of how and what made me sick to each and every visitor.That will make me more sick.And the half baked advice you get from them are reason enough to make new enemies.So I want to be left alone in peace when I am sick.

Personally, I hate people coming to visit me when I'm sick. If I'm not feeling well, then you can guarantee that I'm going to be in a terrible mood, and I'll just want to moan and complain. I don't like trying to make conversation when all I really want is to crawl back into bed!
I appreciate the gesture though, and it's always nice when people come round with soup, or flowers to try to cheer you up a bit.

I feel the same way. When I'm sick, I just want to be by myself. I appreciate it when someone visits, but I don't want to have to be really sociable. I prefer to just lie on the couch and sleep or watch tv when I'm sick.

honestly don't..i don't want any visitors when i'm sick..i don't want them seeing me so ugly when i'm sick and most of all, i hate it when they give advices like do this don't do that...eat this etc...i hate it when they visit just to lecture you on what to do like blaming you for being sick...believe me..relatives of mine who visits me are like that that is why i cant appreciate them coming
