How many states you have in your country????

Hi to all my lotter from different country. I am a Malaysian. My country name is Malaysia and we have 13 states in our country. Those state are Johor ,Kedah, Kelantan, Pahang, Perak, Selangor, Terengganu, Negeri Sembilan, Perlis, Melaka, Pulau Pinang,Kuala Lumpur(main city), Sarawak and Sabah which is located in the east of the country side.My country states name is in Malay word as my country is rule by Malays people but there are alot more races in my country like Chinese, India, Melanau and so on. I am from Sarawak. I just wondering how many states you have in your country can you list it out and which country you are from. This would really helps improve my knowledge to all the country as i always mixed up people country name and their states name.Thanks if you willing to share it with me.

Well, I am a dominican... My country, the Dominican Republic, is in the Caribbean and even though we are a very small 3/4 of an island, we have 31 states or provinces and 1 National District:
National District, Azua, Bahoruco, Barahona, Dajabon, Duarte, El Seibo, Elias Piña, Espaillat, Hato Mayor, Hermanas Mirabal, Independencia, La Altagracia, La Romana, La Vega, Maria Trinidad Sanchez, Monseñor Nouel, Montecristi, Monte Planta, Pedernales, Peravia, Puerto Plata, Samana, San Cristobal, San Jose de Ocoa, San Juan, San Pedro de Macoris, Sanchez Ramirez, Santiago de los Caballeros, Santiago Rodriguez, Santo Domingo and Valverde. I live in Santo Domingo, National District that is the capital of the country... Well, we're on Puerto Rico west side and Cuba and Jamaica East side... just to the South of Miami and the Bahamas, but if you search for it online, maybe they can give you an exact location

Hi snpyvin! I live in Paraguay and we have 17 departments or states.. we call them departments.. They are Concepcion, San Pedro, Cordillera, Guaira, Caaguazu, Caazapa, Itapua, Misiones, Paraguari, Alto Parana, Central, Ñeembucu, Amambay, Canindeyu, Presidente Hayes, Alto Paraguay and Boqueron. I live at Central in a city called Mariano Roque Alonso.

I live in the United States and we have 50 states and we have a couple of territories like Puerto Rico, Guam and a few others. Also to answer your question the President dosent manage all 50 states we have a lot of people running this country. He is the top person in our goverment but mostly everything that happens here in the USA Laws or anything else has to go through Congress. Also each state and territory has a governor which runs the state. I think we have a good system here in the USA but the problem is that George Bush and his people are ruining the United States. I hope that January comes soon so we could have a new president in office because I don't think anyone could be worse than Bush.

Is Bush really that worst??? I don't know well thing happens in your country but he seems quite nice to me and i saw that he has many supporters in the new. And about th 911 incident happen in your country he do revenge it back right? But still they haven found Osama.

Hi buddy....I am from India and my country has 29 states and 6 Union Territories.I am sorry,unlike you,I won't be able to name them all because that would be too much to do...:) but I can tell you that mine is a great country with over 1 billion population and with people belonging to all the major religions living here.There is great cultural diversity in my country and the developing India today is ready to take on any challenge.We are eager to make our mark on the World and also do our bit to make it a better place to live...:)
