I always feel sorry for Lennie in this book, he's not quite the full pint of milk and all he wants to do is pet something for love, sadly he deosn't know his own strenfgh and always end up killing the mice etc. I feel also sorry for George!(think thats his name) as he has a tough job looking after Lennie.
Curly's wife is a BIG tease!!

Sorry , yes its the men in the book. We had to read the book at school. I liked the book so much I went out an brought it. Then when I did an OU course we then had to read it again and do lots of writing about it, which was really good and I enjoyed that part very much.
I have seen it but can't remeber if it was on the stage or as a film. Whatever it was a very good production.

Yeah, I read the book ages ago, but I still remember how sorry I was for both Lennie and George, how much I wished that the story ended happily with them ending up in their dream farm. I like to remember it with fondness as a story of true friendship.

Hi Anne18
Are you talking about the book 'Of Mice and Men'? This was supposed to be one of the books I had to read at school but we never actually finished it that I remember. Wasn't the film 'Rainman' supposed to be based on this book?
Full pint of milk, I like that saying. I usually say that someone is one can short of a six pack!!

I like that saying, one can short of a six pack. My mum used to say a sandwich short of a picnic
I wonder what other sayings like this fellow mylotters can come with
Yes it was mice and men I was talking about, I saw the discussion title Of Mice and Men and decided to start a discussion, I suppose I should have been a bit clearer, sorry
