Marriage Proposal: Do you still remember the day it happen  

There was a servant who was sent by his master to find a wife for his son. After a long journey, the man prayed that God will show him wisdom on whom he will propose a marriage to. To cut the story short, the servant found a woman and made a marriage proposal. The woman, though not seeing the man went with him to be his master's son's wife. I guess that's one of the unique marriage proposal where it was accepted without seeing the man!

I remember being proposed to. We were ice skating and he brought out the ring right on the ice. Kind of hard to forget. :-)

MY husband asked my mom and dad, if he could marriage me. and just as they both said they would love to have him as their son-in-law, just at that moment, I overheard everything that was being said. I made a dash for the kitchen, and just as I made it to the door without thinking I yelled out "Don't my opinion count?" They all looked at me as their faces all turn red. Then by husband asked me If I would marry him. And I said "yes" I have now been marriage to this man for 31 years.

I was lucky to be proposed to twice by my husband. The first time he proposed to me was the night he met me. He said that if I could put up with him then he had to marry me. The second time was in our kitchen at christmas a year later. The first time he proposed I said no but the second time I said yes. We are now married and have been happily married for 9 years.

My marriage proposal is not interesting to share it here. It is not in a romantic way like most people dream of. In fact, I never dreamed of having a romantic type of marriage proposal, just a simple one as long as there is someone who will propose to me one day I would like to share someone's else marriage proposal which was advertised in a newspaper not long ago (maybe because it looks unique in certain way) This guy went out with his girlfriend to have dinner together and on the way to send her back, he drove on a high way where he placed a big billboard with photo of him and the girl; together with this " Dear A, will you marry me?" The girl friend was surprised, shed tears and of course she said 'yes' immediately. The guy's father happens to be the owner of an advertising company and he spent thousands just to get that billboard ad!
