| Feet and legs are sore from standing on my feet all day.  | | | |  Aside from putting them up when I get home what else can I do to make them feel better? I bought insoles for my shoes which seem to help quite a bit. I wonder if I have varicose veins or something else that is making everything so sore. I need to keep this job so please give me advice on how to handle standing on my feet all day without being in pain later on.

| |  after you relax your feet and legs from being tired and sore get lukewarm water put your feet there for 10 minutes and wash them, dry them and massage your legs and feet with massaging oil.

| |  I also suffer with pain in my feet. I'm a nurse and spend alot of time on my feet. You may want to fidn out the cause...are your feet flat? do you have a heel spur? Is it plantar fascitis? I have plantar fascitis and it is so very painful. I recently started physical therapy and changed my sneakers to a running type sneaker instead of a walking type. Many of us use the wrong shoes for our feet. Also, orthotics can be very beneficial if you have very flat feet and they help to relieve some of the pain.

| |  I wear the arches out of my shoes within a month or two after buying the. Check to see if the arches are broke, if they are, get a new pair.
Also like the poster above me said, soak them in warm water, you will be surprised how much that helps.
