Actually, me and my boyfriend just played the board game of Monopoly today! It is still fun because you can come up with new ways to play. Even though they're not the official rules, we've made our own. If you buy Boardwalk, the other players cannot buy Park Place. If you buy one of the orange color, other players cannot buy the orange colors. I love board games!

My husband and I play monopoly and unio (the card game) and we still love'em as if we were still children. They are fun and entertaining.

Me too, mom4kids. I love board games. This summer, Boyfriend and I played a lot of Sequence but we haven't lately because things has gotten too hectic. Most times when we go up to his dad's house, we play Monopoly with his brothers although it gets too long in the end. We have Jenga, Scrabble, Boggle, Yahtzee, Parcheesi, Uno and more... I can't remember them all because we have a lot as we're obviously dorks when it comes to board games. It's so much different when you play it in the computer. It's just not the same. I hope you get to find someone who'll play the board games with you as much as you want.

I was raised on board games, card games and puzzles. Love them all. Unfortunately, my family is a little too competive for my husband and my best friend that comes to visit. So, they don't like to play very often. My kids are getting older to appreciate Sorry and ones like that. I got really bored with Chutes and Ladders and Candyland. My mom still finds interesting games. She gave the kids a game called Blokus last Christmas which is a lot of fun and has very simple rules/directions. A great card game is called Fluxx. Simple card game for 2-6 people, but be prepared to use some strategy.
