Do you or have you ever watched talk shows like Jerry Springer or Oprah?

I used to watch talk shows because I thought they were amusing. I can't imagine doing the things some of those people do on television! I don't care how much they paid me!!

I am ashamed to admit that I used to watch the Jerry Springer show with surprising regularity. Before he got in trouble for letting people brawl on tv, his show was actually intensely entertaining....if you don't mind watching the scum of the world duke it out over stupid and utter ridiculous reasons generally stemming from exceedingly warped relationships within their collective circles. It was fun, in the same way it's fun to try and watch girls undress when you are a 13 year old boy...you know it's wrong but you are just too into it to care.

I have watched both Jerry Springer and Oprah. I used to think the people on the shows were genuine but then a few people told me that most of them were actors and actresses. I think it makes sense because I don't believe anybody in their right mind could go on tv and make a complete idiot of themselves in front of the whole world.

I think Jerry Springer is a joke. And a waste of my time. I can't believe he gets paid for that. Sometimes I will watch Oprah if she has a guest on I will find interesting. Usually though, I am too busy with my daughter to care.

I think that some of the shows are staged and then some of them not. Jerry Springer is definitely a staged show. I believe I was watching a show late at night one night that told about how it was staged. However, shows like say Maury I do not believe are as they have real life situations. Oprah is another one that I would think is very much legit.

i have watched jerry springer and they have admitted to paying SOME of their people but most are sooo bizarre i would think the percentage is higher than that lol
