What toy do you wish they'd bring back?

I know that there are a lot of new toys out on the market and not all of them are really all that bad. However, I also know that there are quite a few that are really unnecessary and dangerous. My fiance and I both agree that we will be looking into "vintage" toys for our children so that we know what they are playing with and that it's safe. Also, I know that we will also enjoy playing with the toys of our youth, and hopefully rekindling that inner child within us both.
Have you looked online for some of your childhood toys? Do you collect old toys? I would love to know of any website that showcases older toys, I've looked on the internet myself for some a while back, and I know they have many sites with lists of toys. What was your favorite toy as a child? Pictures are welcome and appreciated! I hope that you all have a great day!
For myself, my favorite toy was a cloth like rubber band, that you could tie together.

I used to own a Transformer - Optimus Prime toy. I'm a Transformers fan. My version of Optimus Prime is not that big, maybe a little bigger than a mobile phone. If i still have it now maybe i can sell it double the price because i realized those kinds or toys are kind of rare. Much more when the movie Transformers was shown. I was dying to own a Voltron toy but it was too expensive! My other favorite is the Bandai robot which can transform into a vintage cadillac. The box is written in Japanese so there's no way for me to know it's name. Hot Wheels are ok but i break them easily so i lost my interest on these toys. G.I. Joe! One of the best action figures during our/me time.

Glad that you like those toys, they all sound familiar, except for the bandai robot! Sounds like fun toys. I appreciate the response.

I agree there are a lot of new toys out there, some of them are neat but some of them are too dangerous and send the wrong messages to kids, and I am glad that we agree that vintage toys are better for our kids so that way we know what they are playing with, and I miss the toys I played with when I was little, recently I have been looking online for action figures from my favorite cartoon show ThunderCats and I have been thinking that we need to sit down and watch all four volumes,I would say that one of my favorite toys was the ThunderTank along with ThunderCats action figures,I have included a picture of the ThunderTank toy so that anyone who reads my respond will know what I am talking about,I love you.

I know that we need to watch them again, from the beginning so that I can see the episodes I didn't get to see when we continued to watch them after you had stopped. I think that the toys we are looking for and at are great and I sure do hope we can find some at a great price and in good condition. I know we will teach our children good values and not to destroy the toys.
I love you too!

I am glad that you agree we need to watch them again from beginning to end so you can see the episodes of the first season that you did not get to see the last time I watched them, and hopefully we can find some of the great toys at great prices and I know we will teach our kids to cherish their toys, and take care of them like we used to take care of our toys,I love you with all of my heart and soul, have a great day, good luck with all your mylotting goals, and Happy Posting Baby.

I miss the lemon skippy thing. Do you remember? It had a ring that went around your ankle and a lemon attached by a longish cord. You had to swing it around one leg while skipping over it with the other leg. It was a great way to learn coordination.
I also loved the sit n spin. I think they still make one similar, but smaller. That was alot of fun too. Spinning until you felt so dizzy you could toss your cookies.

I think they called it skip it or something similar. Mine was pink and I know I had fun with it. I think it was a hand me down, but I can't be certain. Either that or my sister still liked to play with it. Those kind of toys were all so fun. I am not sure about the Sit N Spin although it sounds familiar. I appreciate the response.
