is it possible to expect something you can and never expected??
answer, as i have implied on my first statement, no..
then how come we often say tha we must expect the unexpected?? and we embrace that this is correct??
if this is acceptable, will it be alright to say 'avoid the unavoidable?'..

Hi! Welcome to myLot. I agree with you on the first statement. I mean you really cannot expect the unexpected because once you think of things that you might not expect to happen, you actually expect them. But you still call them the "unexpected" since you thought it was highly unlikely to happen. But still, its an expectation. Yeah, most people accept it as it is and dont bother to question it that often. I guess its just a way for most people to cope in trying to be ready for uncertain things.
As for "avoid the unavoidable", for me, yeah, it can happen. The thing is that you can try to avoid it as much as you want but still it catches up to you or maybe is already waay ahead of you. Just give it some time and it will happen no matter how much you try to avoid it.
I hope that made sense somehow.LOL! My philosophy on your subject question is just to not expect anything. That way you wont get disappointed or frustrated.^_^
