Wordsworth and Shelley  

Wordsworth and Shelley belonged to the romantic school of English poetry. Wordsworth was an ardent worshiper of nature and Shelley was a revolutionary romantic. Wordsworth had a long life and had chances to compose beautiful poems and that too in great number. Nature to him was something living and he had attempted to communicate with it and this realization at some points reminds me the philosophical contribution of the sage-bards of the ancient India. And the visionary Shelley was a different personality armed with the courage to challenge the god in his Prometheus Unbound. And courage he did have really even to challenge the stormy river that of course was the cause of his premature death enough before his could-have-been-much-more contribution to the sphere of English poetry.
