This is a book by Michael Gates Gill. The front says how a son of privilege learns to live like everyone else. I love the book, even tho I must confess I am reading it my way, at random. It is a nice story of starting over. It gives me the sense that I can start over too in any kind of job, that anyone can for that matter. In his case it was pure luck that it was starbucks. I could probably write a book saying how Walmart give me the chance of continue to read at low prices but probably I won't becuase I am sure that is everyone who gets book there, anyways a good story and a good book to read. I wonder how many people in my lot have read it? How many would like to read it?

I wonder if it's like a business-success-story kind of book or is it fictional? The title sounds interesting though.

It is like a memoir book. It covers some of his childhood years, youth, and what happens to him when he loses his job.

Have not read it, nor will I. But, you seem to be enjoying it immensely, and all that laughing at what you've been reading proves it

I really am not in the mood to watch movies, it takes an effort lately, kinda weird, I just can't seem to stay put in front of tv. The book went out last year, and it is on paperback now. It will be interesting to see if they make a movie out of it, kinda early tho.
