Orthodox or Southpaw?

For all boxing fans, I assume that you already knew the difference between a southpaw and an orthodox. Some boxing experts say that a boxer who uses an orthodox stance will be having a difficult time to fight an opponent who has a southpaw stance. Let's say you're a boxer, which style would you pick? and why?

Southpaw boxer also has difficulties fighting orthodox boxers because their jabs were on the same side.

If I would be a boxer I would be using an orthodox stance since I'm a right-handed person. But if I can choose a stance I would choose Southpaw. And all the boxers I know that strong are southpaw. I like to be a southpaw since southpaw can develop also their right hand then I can be a great boxer. And also one of the reason I want to be a southpaw because Manny Pacquiao is. ;)
